Legacy 42 Hull and Deck
DECK: Wide side decks, 6 SS grab rails, a high bulwark, and a full length bow rail make movement around Spartina safe and comfortable. The extra optional sliding door to port from the pilothouse adds extra freedom of movement and ventilation. Six overhead deck hatches and numerous polished SS opening portlights make this one of the airiest and brightest boats you will find. 360degree visibility from the helm.
HULL: Spartina has an Oyster White hull with Flag Blue boot stripe and Micron CSC green bottom paint. The hull has a narrow entry forward and flat sections which deliver a soft ride without pounding. The flats provide additional stability and a lower riding angle for enhanced visibility at all speeds. The full length keel protects the prop makes the boat track easily. There is a shaft line cutter just in case. With the bow thruster, this boat is very solid in the water and easy in close quarters handling. Under water exhaust keeps the hull cleaner and ride is fume free and quiet. Solid fiberglass rub rails on hull and aft quarters for protection. Bottom is coated with Interprotect epoxy barrier coat for enhanced anti-fouling paint adhesion.
